Family Engagement at Irvine Royal Academy

Family Fun Nights

At Irvine Royal Academy, we love seeing families get involved in school life. When families and the school work together, it helps to create a positive learning atmosphere at home too. That's why we're hosting our Family Fun Nights, happening each term:

These evenings are all about relaxing, spending time together, and building connections with our staff, partners and wider school community.

Our aim is to make sure families feel included in school life, helping us strengthen the bond between home and school and creating a supportive community for our young people.

We'd love for you to join us at our Family Fun Nights - come along, get involved, and be part of the Irvine Royal Academy community!

Parent Council

Irvine Royal Academy are looking for volunteers to help support us in our mission to fundraise and promote parent/carer involvement. More information can be found here and you can join the Facebook page here.

If you want to be involved, share ideas on how to make a difference in the school, and meet new friends, come along our meetings:

It's never too late to join in - so even if you've missed earlier meetings, you're always welcome. Please come along, get involved and work with us to make Irvine Royal Academy the best it can be! Meetings are held within the school's staffroom at 6.30pm, please enter via Main Entrance.

Royal Resources

Our Royal Resources Shop is an initiative aimed at supporting our school community by providing high-quality, pre-loved uniforms at no cost. We also offer casual clothing, warm jackets, toiletries, food, toys and period products.  There is no stigma or judgement - this is a service for everyone who would like to use it. More information can be found here.

It plays an important role in supporting our school community, and we couldn’t do it without the help of amazing volunteers. Getting involved is a brilliant way to make a difference for our young people and their families, while also being part of the wider school community. If you’d like to get involved, our Youth Worker, Chiara, would love to hear from you. We always welcome new volunteers - whether it’s a little of your time or more regular support, every bit makes a difference.

Email royalresources@glow.sch.uk if you’re interested in getting involved.
