Every month the Irvine Royal school community have a theme based around the schools values and how we can embody them.

Our Theme of the Month programme has been running for numerous years now and each week we promote a value that relates to both the school values and the 4 capacities of Scottish Education. 

We promote these throughout the month during lessons and discussions with our young people as well as promoting it on Twitter and visually around the school.  

Our Senior Pupil Leadership Team play a key role in developing and promoting these themes within our school community, we believe it is key that they are fully involved in this process.

Young people are awarded house tokens by their class teachers for Living the Theme and these count towards the Interhouse Points.
