Halloween Ghost Tour – Unhappily Ever After
On Thursday 28 October, the school transformed into our annual haunted house for this year’s Halloween ghost tour. Mr Elliot and senior pupils have been working hard for weeks to pull the event together, and the time finally came for the scares to begin.
Our theme this year was ‘Unhappily Ever After’ which featured many elements of Disney classics and childhood fairy tales, but with a horror twist. Staff and pupils from S5 and 6 all got dressed up and acted out their scenes for a sell-out crowd of 150 pupils. Characters included Princess Belle, Snow White and her dwarves, Characters from Frozen, Pirates of the Caribbean, 3 little pigs, Brave, Little Red Riding Hood, Mickey and Minney Mouse and a collection of superheroes. We even managed to convince Mrs Sloan to take part along with Miss Gilchrist as Cruella Deville and her dalmation.
The event was a tremendous success with scares all round, and this would not have been possible without the help of all the staff and pupils who came along and took part. Thanks also to the Barista group and girls from the Nail Bar who also provided services on the night. Happy Halloween everyone, and here’s to next year…
