Science

The Science team are excited to meet all new S1 pupils in August. 

Pupils will experience transition opportunities, both in their primary setting and at Irvine Royal Academy prior to starting S1.

S1 Science consists of 6 units of work. These have been developed to increase awareness of each discrete Science and are delivered as Biology/Chemistry/Physics units, allowing pupils to identify which may be most useful to them as they progress through school and onto positive destinations. Pupils will have the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills required in a Science environment. Links to real world applications are developed throughout the course and pupils are encouraged to think about how Science contributes to sustainability of Earth and its resources.

We look forward to welcoming our budding Scientists to the department and having lots of fun with them.
